CareerBoost offers Modern Youth Apprenticeship pathways that provide exceptional learning experiences, paid employment, and valuable credentials that lead to success in high-demand, high-wage careers. Offered by Eastern Indiana Works and East Central Educational Service Center, this program helps high school students in East Central Indiana earn paid work experience, gain college credit, and build career skills. Beginning in junior year, this three-year commitment goes beyond short-term internships to prepare students for long-term success.

By combining Eastern Indiana Works’ strong employer connections and workforce expertise with the East Central Education Service Center’s leadership in career pathways, work-based learning, and education partnerships, this initiative seeks to expand youth apprenticeship opportunities for all East Central Indiana students. Together, schools and employers will create career pathways that offer paid employment, hands-on learning, aligned academics, college credit, and industry-recognized credentials.
