About the Role
"Job Summary: The primary function of a Finisher / Detailer is to be the last set of eyes on the finished product before it’s sent to the customer.
• Inspecting finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are being met.
• Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by measuring with tape measures or checking templates
• Understanding of how to use tools required for the trade to ensure they are safely and proficiently used such as: small hand grinders, buffers, orbital sanders, cut off saw
• Install hardware, brackets and accessories as necessary
• Can properly fill air voids or defects with body filler and ensure a quality repair once trained
• Ability to learn proper sanding, wet sanding and buffing techniques once trained - Trim, shape and sand components as required"
