General Laborer Job Description

• Load and unload railcars and semi trailers using a pump or air pressure
• Use scales to weigh trucks
• Document product coming in and going out
• Collect samples of product for testing
• Test Product (if trained to do so)
• Operate the high lift to get measurements on each tank
• Operate a forklift to move things occasionally
• Various janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping and general cleaning
• Help others in tasks that require more than one person

High School Math
Previous experience in a shop environment
Forklift operator’s certification
