ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Cleans and properly sanitizes dog kennels and rooms, dishes and laundry.
2. Takes out trash from assigned areas.
3. Stocks supplies in assigned areas.
4. Administers medications and care to dogs.
5. Performs intake procedures that include recording accurate information, assessing, weighing and vaccinating dogs, and providing parasite treatment/prevention to dogs.
6. Maintains the grounds, including but not limited to: mowing, weeding, shoveling snow/ice, cleaning walls and baseboards and unloading and organizing supplies.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Assists with maintaining inventory of supplies for use with the dogs. Communicates needed items to the Office Manager.

This position provides advanced administrative and operational support to the Building Commissioner’s Office. The role serves as a central point of coordination for departmental administrative functions, including payroll, timekeeping, records management, permit processing, and confidential personnel documentation.

This position is designated as confidential due to routine and ongoing access to sensitive employee information, including personnel records, medical documentation, disciplinary materials, and internal communications involving the Department Head, Human Resources, and legal counsel. Essential Functions

• Receive, process, and maintain doctor’s notes, FMLA certifications, and related medical records in compliance with HIPAA and applicable laws and policies
