About the Role
"The CNC Programmer develops programs by writing code to produce machined parts on CNC mills and lathes. Must be knowledgeable and experienced with G-Code, M-Code, and conversational programming. Sets up and programs CNC machines while maintaining quality and safety standards. Plan machining operations by reviewing work orders, blueprints, engineering plans and drawings. Maintain specifications by observing, drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning and facing operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing work tools and quality assurance.
Qualifications: 3+ years' experience in a similar role. Ability to manage several projects at one time. Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively. Must be able to work independently on a project through its completion with minimum supervision. Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, machining and tooling background and previous manufacturing background/experience."
