About the Role
JOB SUMMARY:
This role will teach our new Career Technical Education (CTE) Programs for Rush County High School (RCHS) students.
The Career Technical Education (CTE) Specialist will report to Rush Memorial Hospital Training & Development and assume responsibility to plan, implement, and provide academic and skills training to students in a particular field including, but not limited to Central Sterile Technician. The CTE Specialist is responsible for carrying out career technical education programs based on the Indiana Commission for Higher Education CTE Model Curriculum Standards consistent with the Next Level Programs of Study that prepares students for high-skill, high-wage careers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
High School Diploma
Must be eligible for an Indiana DOE Workplace Specialist Teaching License
Healthcare Occupation Licensure as approved by Regional, State or National Board Certification OR Accredited 2 year degree in specific healthcare certification area
Preferred:
Accredited 4 year degree
Surgical Technologist Certification
Experience-
2 years’ experience (or 4,000 hours in the past 10 years)
